I was hesitant to get this jacket because I was looking for a cooler jacket to be worn in the summer. I gave it a try due to the leather perforations and so far it’s been an amazing coat. It’s just a beautiful coat - the design and the zippers and buckles. For transparency sake I am 5’4” and weigh 270lbs. I carry all my weight in the tummy and a 5XL fit well. The armor is substantial and the coat does weight a bit. Once it’s on you don’t notice it - but it feels like you are getting a ton of protection. Coat breaths beautifully while in motion, can get hot at stand still- but even heat intolerant me can handle it.

I tend to opt for textile jackets just because they've always felt a little more lightweight and movable. I don't feel weighed down at all, and the perforations on the body really let the perfect amount of ventilation through. I currently ride with it in mid-50s to 60-degree weather with a windproof layer underneath, and I've got no complaints. I’m excited to wear it in the warmer months because I think the white color and perforations will do a great job of keeping me cool. It’s truly the perfect all-season riding jacket.

For reference, I'm 5' 7" with an extremely athletic build (I'm a kickboxing instructor) at 155 lbs, 38C, and waist size 29. I got a large, and it was snug at first (bc leather, duh!), but I love it more and more as it breaks in.
