I live in Texas, so it gets very hot. This is awesome for when I want a ride without a jacket but I still want protection. Putting the back protector in makes it a bit difficult to put on, but not impossible. Taking it off is more difficult than putting it on.

I would say that I would primarily wear this when I'm only going for a ride and coming back home. If I were going to ride to an event or to eat, I would probably wear a normal top and a jacket, that way I could take off the jacket and let my back breathe once I'm there. If you're wearing this, you would have a sweaty back from the back protector since you wouldn't be able to take this off while hanging out. But for going for a casual ride, this is awesome! Really the only part of me that got sweaty is the back, but the rest of it is very breathable. You could also wear this when it's chilly and throw a regular jacket or hoodie over it for some warmth, but you're still protected.

[5ft 4in 165lbs] Ended up in size large to get more upper arm space. Lower Body(tummy down) fit better in medium. Wore for about 500 miles (Mississippi Area) to test it out. Kept me ridiculously cool while riding & dried sweat quickly after too sunny stops. Very comfortable; forgot I had armor on until I had to get out of it. Only 4 stars cuz taking it off is HARD with the back armor in. I’d recommend getting a vest or something else with a back armor pocket to wear over the suit; if you want that protection along with higher waisted riding pants because of how high the leg cuts are. My side skin was visible in mid rise pants. Added bonus: makes your boobs look great if you like to show them off lol also didn’t experience any discomfort from the clasps. Will continue to ride in this suit!
