I live in Texas and this jacket is a must for staying protected while in this Texas heat. I saw someone online mention the color was more of a burnt orange than red so I was a bit worried that it would look orange but it definitely looks like a deep red, to me. I get Deadpool vibes from this jacket and it's awesome.

I love the straps that tighten on the waist and arms. And I also worked with support to upgrade the armor to level 2. It's very comfortable. I did get caught in the rain the other day (it was hot when I left the house and I didn't know it was going to rain) so I definitely got soaked in this jacket. So maybe just check the weather before you ride, or just be ok with being very wet if you get caught in the rain wearing this. But at least I was nice and cool by that point. lol

If you want something breathable where you can feel the wind but still be protected in case of a fall/slide, this is definitely the jacket. I have not slid in this, but I have fallen twice with this on and the jacket is perfect. With the back protector in, I think it makes me look a little weird because it's so thick, but it definitely still feels comfortable and breathable, so I don't mind.

This jacket is well made, feels comfortable but sturdy, and when riding the breeze flows through it so nicely to keep you cool even in hot Florida summer weather. The process to upgrade the armor was seamless, and I received everything quickly. I can’t thank wind & throttle enough for the amazing product and fantastic experience, they were immensely helpful in figuring out what I needed for my very first jacket!
