For reference I'm a 14, 210/5'9" and these fit me perfectly as an XL. Only complaint is the outer inner thigh is very soft material which feels great but kind of makes gripping the tank more of a knee activity than thighs. I wear these by themselves in hot weather, haven't tried layering but that would probably fix that. They do stay very cool as long as I'm not stopped in direct sunlight. The armor likes to pop out when you peel them off, FYI.
